hello!! the school year is approaching quickly which means back to school posts! today i’m going to be sharing what i keep in my fjallraven kanken when i go to school.
and i’m collaborating with the lovely clara over at clarascomfortzone!! she is so sweet and i love her style! she blogs about fashion, food, confidence & so much more!! her posts are really cute and fun to read, so definitely go check out her blog!
now onto the post…
so this is my backpack, its the black fjallraven kanken in the regular size. and i LOVE it so so so much! it looks pretty small, but it can fit a lot inside and it has many pockets and pouches. i have to wear a uniform at my school, so my backpack is one of the ways i express myself style wise!
so here are the items in my kanken…
p e n c i l c a s e – this is pretty self-explanatory, but i have a pencil case with a bunch of pens, markers, pencils, & highlighters!
w a t e r b o t t l e – its really important to stay hydrated during school, so i like having a water bottle in my back pack.
c h a r g e r – this is a must have if you are allowed to bring any devices to your school!
l a p t o p – at my school we can bring our own laptops or use the schools devices. i just bring my one from home.
h a n d s a n t i z e r – another essential because theres lots of germs at school.
s n a c k s – i love having a pack of gum and a bag of chips in my backpack incase i get hungry!
h a n d c r e a m & l i p b a l m e t c – hygiene products are a must bring to school!
e a r b u d s – i sometimes take the bus home from school, so these are a lifesaver!!
i p h o n e – my school isn’t very strict about us bringing our phones to school, so bring yours if you’re allowed to.
b o o k s – pretty self-explanatory, bring binders, notebooks, etc.

Hello! I thought I would share some of my favourite songs! I have written a ton of posts and am planning on uploading them over the next couple of months. I also have been really active on my instagram. I have discovered many bloggers on there, all the photos are lovely! School is pretty good, tiring at times, but thats okay. Hello! Today I am collaborating with one of my favourite bloggers, Raf from rafstheticallypleasing. She posts about fashion, beauty, lifestyle and more! Ever since I discovered her blog, I have been obsessed! It is so gorgeous and I love all her posts, I definitely recommend giving it a read! We thought we would share some of our favourite places we have been, I have posted a similar post to this, you can check it out here.
I took this photo at Loch Ard Gorge, a spot along the Great Ocean Road in Australia. The view was so breath taking and the water looked gorgeous! I visited Australia when I was 13, and I have been dying to go back ever since! The people and so friendly, the food is great, and of course the scenery is amazing!
Kuang Si Waterfalls near Luang Prabang are gorgeous and a must see if you ever visit Laos! The falls are layered, so you can go swimming and have your own private pool! Just warning you, theres little fish that will nip and at feet, a little scary I know!
The stunning temple, Angkor Wat in Cambodia. We arrived for the sun rise and it was so beautiful. Inside Angkor Wat, are many chambers featuring intricate designs on the walls.
In this photo, you can see the rice fields. I took this photo just outside of Ninh Binh, Vietnam. My family and I slept in a grass hut looking over a lake. I loved visiting Vietnam, the people were so friendly and nice, the food was AMAZING, and scenery was stunning!
This is an image of the black sand beach in Iceland. The sand was so dark, and the beach was so gorgeous! This is a must see in Iceland, go early so you don’t catch the crowds! The water was quite cold though, so don’t go swimming!
This beach is on the island of Koh Phangan, Thailand. The water was so clear and beautiful, and it was so so so warm!
We took a dragon boat (not pictured in the image) to cruise through Bai Tu Long Bay, Vietnam! We did many activities such as kayaking, swimming, island visiting, and we visitied an oyster farm. These are the boats that took us to the oyster farm.

hello!
a room tour is by far my most requested post, so i decided to clean my room and share some photos! i spend most of my time in my room, so i like to keep it organized and pretty looking. we moved into this house almost two years ago, and after hours of rearranging, designing, and planning, i am finally happy with how it looks. i hope you enjoy xx
this is where i sleep, read, and watch netflix! i wanted it to be quite minimalistic, with a pop of colour. my bed is from ikea along with the light, and the string lights are from vietnam. i have a pretty palm leave and a small box resting on my nightstand, a block of wood.
i absolutely love this clothing rack! my dad and i made it a couple months ago based on a design we found online by chloe larkin. it is so cute and really easy to make, it only took us half an hour. on my clothing rack, i have my favourite clothing items, the rest are in my closet. i also have my converse and my kanken.
this is where i do my homework, write blogposts and do art! i don’t know if i enjoy the appearance of my desk right now, it is quite messy and unorganized. anyways, my desk is from ikea, same with the drawers. on my desk is a bunch of art supplies like pencils, paint brushes, and sketchbooks.
this is where i get ready in the morning! the larger mirror is from ikea (surprise surprise!) in this area, i have a bamboo chute, a magnifying mirror, and a bunch of my favourite skincare and beauty products. i also have a cute jewellery dish. in the drawers below, i have all my makeup products, perfumes, and skincare products.
i quite like this corner of my room! i have two mood boards, a travel one with my scratch map and the other one features a bunch of photos that i found on pinterest! i also have a candle sitting on top of a couple of favourite books and a journal. my chair is from ikea (again!) and the pillow is from indigo.
here are some other parts of my room. the first image is of my mirror and a vintage stool with a pretty plant! you can also see my polaroid wall. the second image shows a book shelf holding some of my favourite novels and a jewelry stand thing. this area also has my two favourite beauty products and a plant!

Today I will be sharing a recipe for a mango raspberry smoothie bowl. My last smoothie bowl recipe was one of my most popular posts, so I decided to make another one! love eating (or is it drinking?) smoothie bowls for breakfast, because they are super healthy and tasty and take little time to make. Also, sorry this one doesn’t look as pretty as my last one. Haha

S T E P O N E :
Take out your blender. I used my Magic Bullet. I not sure what type it is, but I am really liking it, and recommend it.
S T E P T W O :
Add your smoothie ingredients. I used frozen mango, frozen raspberries, and mango/peach juice. If you want you can add yogurt.
S T E P T H R E E :
Next, you blend together until smooth. Then pour in a bowl or glass.
S T E P F O U R :
Gather up your ingredients. I added strawberries, kiwis, sliced almonds, hemp harts, and honey. yum. (if you want a vegan option, skip the honey)
S T E P F I V E :
Assemble your smoothie bowl. Add the larger ingredients first, in my case, the strawberries and kiwi. Add hemp harts and sliced almonds. I also drizzled honey to make it a bit sweeter.

Over the long weekend, my family and I caught a ferry to Vancouver and saw the Imagine Dragons play in Rogers Arena! Here are some photos I took during our trip.

A view from our hotel. We were really close to granville (a huge shopping street) so we visited many little stores and boutiques. BTW, a shopping haul is coming up 😉

Hello! I have to go back to school tomorrow. Tomorrow. I have mixed emotions about going back. So lets get onto the post!
These are some of the things that I will be keeping in my backpack this year. The backpack I have is the Fjallraven Kanken in the colour black. I have a review on it here.
iphone
This one is a no brainer. I use my phone to take photos, communicate, homework, etc. I don’t have a photo of it (because I’m using it to take photos ahah) but it is the gold iphone
earbuds
Earbuds are a must have in highschool. I have to take the bus home after school and the bus is very loud, so earbuds save my life.
lip balm
Lip balm is another must. I love EOS lip balm and I use them almost everyday.
hand sanitizer
I love purchasing scented hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works. It is definitely an essential at school, for obvious reasons.
laptop
I use my laptop for all my school work. Thankfully, it just fits inside my Fjallraven Kanken!
water bottle
It is very important to stay hydrated, especially at school.
mints
I love having mints or gum in my locker or backpack.
hairties
I have PE everyday of the week except for one, so hairties are definitely a must.
wallet
I keep a little change purse in my backpack just in case I need to pick up a snack at a vending machine.
pencil case
The case that I am using was purchased from Typo in Australia. I absolutely love that store, and am missing it here in Canada.
binders and books
Pretty self explanatory. The fjallraven kanken looks pretty small, but can actually fit four binders and a bit of room!
