i have recently been really into magazines, my favourites being frankie and uppercase. here are a few of my favourite pages from each.
a few days ago i picked up my first frankie magazine, and fell in love! the design is so amazing, the illustration is gorgeous, and the articles are so great, i just love it! for the longest time i thought that you couldn’t purchase them in canada, and was so jealous of all my friends in australia, england, america and new zealand that could read them. then i went to london drugs (a a little grocery store in canada ) and found one! i was so happy.
uppercase is full of beautiful illistrations, creative crafts, gorgeous products, and articles mainly focused on art & design. it has so many unique craft ideas and i feel so inspired when i read it! i really love the water colours ( featured in the third picture ) and am planning to try and paint some similar to them!!

my next favourite is this outfit, its super casual, but still cute. my top is from brandy melville, and its amazing. i’ve worn it so many times and i just love it so much! you can’t really tell from the photos, but it has pretty little white flower detailing all over it. i thrifted these shorts. they were only $2! originally they were mom jeans, but i cut them and made them into shorts. i love the wash of these. and finally, my shoes are from converse. they are plain white & really comfortable.
* thanks raf for helping me out with this photo haha

I just got back from Vancouver, I had a blast! My family and I had so much fun, shopping, eating, sightseeing, & more! I bought a ton of clothing, stay posted for a spring look book 💐🍑🌱
I went to many shops including, brandy melville, urban outfitters, aesop, and lots of little boutiques. I purchased a whole new wardrobe, and wasted all my money…
I also ate the best food! Açai bowls, falafels, smoothies, gelato & more. It was all so delicious!
We went to the Vancouver art gallery, to granville island, and walked through downtown.
While I was in Vancouver, I took a ton of photos! The ones above are the ones that made the cut!
Times flies when you are having fun, before I knew it, the weekend had past, along with spring break. I had my first day of term three today, I’m not too excited for the rest of it… I have a feeling that I will be quite busy will school work, but I will try to fit in some creative time!
Hope you enjoyed xx Jasper
Hello! Spring break has officially started and I am loving it! Today, my friend and I went out for brunch and we walked around downtown and chinatown. It was a bit of a gloomy Tuesday since it was raining, but we had fun and took many many photos. I’m also learning Mandarin at school, so I decided to incorporate it into my post!
First we went to Wanna Waffle, where I had the best Belgium waffle ever! It made me miss the waffles I had while travelling in Belgium. It had whipped cream and a bunch of delicious berries!
After, we popped into a couple of lovely stores, I didn’t end up buying anything. We then walked around the city, admiring the beautiful buildings!
Then we went to Chinatown, which was lovely! We walked through several different alleys with beautiful lights!
Thank you for reading!

a room tour is by far my most requested post, so i decided to clean my room and share some photos! i spend most of my time in my room, so i like to keep it organized and pretty looking. we moved into this house almost two years ago, and after hours of rearranging, designing, and planning, i am finally happy with how it looks. i hope you enjoy xx
this is where i sleep, read, and watch netflix! i wanted it to be quite minimalistic, with a pop of colour. my bed is from ikea along with the light, and the string lights are from vietnam. i have a pretty palm leave and a small box resting on my nightstand, a block of wood.
i absolutely love this clothing rack! my dad and i made it a couple months ago based on a design we found online by chloe larkin. it is so cute and really easy to make, it only took us half an hour. on my clothing rack, i have my favourite clothing items, the rest are in my closet. i also have my converse and my kanken.
this is where i do my homework, write blogposts and do art! i don’t know if i enjoy the appearance of my desk right now, it is quite messy and unorganized. anyways, my desk is from ikea, same with the drawers. on my desk is a bunch of art supplies like pencils, paint brushes, and sketchbooks.
this is where i get ready in the morning! the larger mirror is from ikea (surprise surprise!) in this area, i have a bamboo chute, a magnifying mirror, and a bunch of my favourite skincare and beauty products. i also have a cute jewellery dish. in the drawers below, i have all my makeup products, perfumes, and skincare products.
i quite like this corner of my room! i have two mood boards, a travel one with my scratch map and the other one features a bunch of photos that i found on pinterest! i also have a candle sitting on top of a couple of favourite books and a journal. my chair is from ikea (again!) and the pillow is from indigo.
here are some other parts of my room. the first image is of my mirror and a vintage stool with a pretty plant! you can also see my polaroid wall. the second image shows a book shelf holding some of my favourite novels and a jewelry stand thing. this area also has my two favourite beauty products and a plant!
thank you for reading! i hope you enjoyed xx
Beautiful water lilies found outside of a temple in Ninh Binh, Vietnam.
Riding camels across the Thar Desert in India.
Visiting the beautiful cathedral cove in New Zealand.
Walking up the steps of the detailed Taj Mahal in Agra, India.
A beautiful beach in Belgium.
The stunning Pantheon in Athens, Greece.
Colourful fish found while snorkelling in Thailand.
The famous (and picture perfect) pool in Sydney, Australia.
A beautiful statue found in the Louvre, in Paris. I believe it is called the winged goddess.
A cat resting at Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
And finally, a few colourful building in Copenhagen, Denmark.
I have had a passion for travelling ever since I was young. During 2015 and 2016, my family of four had the amazing opportunity to travel around the world for a year. We went to 22 unique and beautiful countries and I loved every second of the trip. I met so many amazing people, forming life-long friendships. I was faced with so many opportunities, all which I am so grateful for. I am so thankful that my parents value experiences over possessions, and I would love to offer my future children the same opportunity. I made so many memories over the course of the year, and have decided to share a few of them with you. I posted a few travel diaries for quite a while ago, so if you want, give them a read. Australia, turkey – my journey through photos, vietnam – my journey through photos.
You guys seemed to like my last journey through photos so I decided to make a another one. I really hope you guys enjoy!
Vietnam was so amazing. We walked the busy streets of Hanoi, visited temples, stayed in the middle of nowhere in a place without a wall and door, cruised through Karsts, and so much more. It was such a memorable country. The locals were so friendly, the food was great, and overall, amazing!
While we were in Vietnam, we stayed on a luxurious boat and cruised through the blue waters. This image shows the beautiful karsts in Bai Tu Long Bay, Vietnam. This type of karsts are only found in three places around the world, and I was lucky enough to visit one of them. We went kayaking and saw a jellyfish!
This image shows one of the bustling streets of Hanoi. There are so many shops set up selling beautiful handcrafted items.
Here is an amazing temple we visited. It had so many beautiful and complex details.
Here is another image from Bai Tu Long Bay. It was such a great experience and I definitely recommend it if you are visiting Vietnam.
We hiked up this hill that overlooked many rice patties. It was pretty foggy that morning, as you can probably tell ahah.
Overall, Vietnam was such an amazing place to visit. I would love to visit there again. I definitely recommend Vietnam if you are planning a vacation.
Thank you so much for reading!
