I had the most amazing time in New York, if you haven’t seen my last post, you can read it here… new york travel diary!
While I was in New York, I dragged my family into the glossier showroom, and oh my, it was stunning.
I’m sure you all have heard of glossier before. It is a makeup / skincare brand that focuses on enhancing your natural features instead of hiding them. They are known for their beautiful minimalistic packaging, which I love!! I also think that their products are of great quality.
I thought that I would share some photos of my experience as well as a haul.
* the haul is going to be at the end of this post
I hope you enjoy!
This is the outside of the glossier penthouse. We stood in the line for around fifteen minutes, then took an elevator upstairs.
We got up and walked around, checking out the gorgeous displays. To be honest, it was quite crowded and hot inside, but that was the only negative part of my trip!
The workers were super helpful and friendly.
There were tables full of testers that you can look at and tryout. If you plan on buying something, you go to an employee and place an order and they bring it out to you! Honestly, it’s such a great system because you don’t have to wait in line.
The store is just so aesthetically pleasing and pretty to look at. All the displays are stunning full of flowers and pinkness!!
Glossier isn’t relatively cheap, but its also not overly expensive. The products are of great quality and you can get a lot of use out of them.
Now onto the products that I purchased! I decided to add in a few items that I bought a while back, just to show you guys!
When you buy something from glossier, you receive a sample, stickers, and of course, the glossier pouch! I received a sample of the moisturizer, but i am yet to use it.
First of all, can I say LOOK AT THE PACKAGING!! It’s so minimalistic and gorgeous. As for the actual highlighter, it went on quite smoothly. It gives off more of a natural shine, so if you were looking for something blinding, this isn’t the product for you. It’s definitely a product that I will be repurchasing!
I’m a little obsessed with the lip balms from glossier. They just smell too good! I picked this one up in rose, and oh my, it’s amazing. It actually smells like roses! It has a bit of a pinky tint, but it’s not noticeable when it’s on your lips.
I picked up the famous lipgloss for my friend while I was in nyc and she loves it! It goes on smoothly and isn’t super sticky like most lip glosses.
Another favourite. The coconut just smells so freaking good!! And of course the packing is beautiful as always. It’s not sticky at all and can easily be applied!
I’ve had this product for a while now and have been using it everyday. I love how easily the blush can be applied. Warning : careful how much you squeeze out, a little goes a long way!
I purchased this in the smallest size, and am probably going to get the larger one because I love it so much! You can apply to damp or dry skin and rinse off. It’s super gentle and has a faint scent of flowers.
This is another product that I’ve had for a while, and I love it! It smells just like cake. My only complaint though is that the the shiny part is starting to wear off. Otherwise, it’s an amazing product!
My sister picked this up from the glossier showroom and she adores it! It smells amazing and has a beautiful red tint.
This is another on of my original three products. I LOVE it, definitely going to repurchase. The colour is lovely, a pretty light pink.
That’s all for today, I hope you enjoyed!
Have you tried ( or wanted to try ) any of glossiers products?

Anyways, Venice looks amazing! The canals look so gorgeous, and oh not to mention the food!!
Another place that I would love to visit is Croatia! I would love to walk on the city walls of Dubrovnik and go swimming in the gorgeous blue waters!
I would love to visit Peru! It looks so gorgeous! I would love to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. It would be so amazing to see the old city! And the alpacas are so cute ahah.

Hello! Today I am collaborating with one of my favourite bloggers, Raf from rafstheticallypleasing. She posts about fashion, beauty, lifestyle and more! Ever since I discovered her blog, I have been obsessed! It is so gorgeous and I love all her posts, I definitely recommend giving it a read! We thought we would share some of our favourite places we have been, I have posted a similar post to this, you can check it out here.
I took this photo at Loch Ard Gorge, a spot along the Great Ocean Road in Australia. The view was so breath taking and the water looked gorgeous! I visited Australia when I was 13, and I have been dying to go back ever since! The people and so friendly, the food is great, and of course the scenery is amazing!
Kuang Si Waterfalls near Luang Prabang are gorgeous and a must see if you ever visit Laos! The falls are layered, so you can go swimming and have your own private pool! Just warning you, theres little fish that will nip and at feet, a little scary I know!
The stunning temple, Angkor Wat in Cambodia. We arrived for the sun rise and it was so beautiful. Inside Angkor Wat, are many chambers featuring intricate designs on the walls.
In this photo, you can see the rice fields. I took this photo just outside of Ninh Binh, Vietnam. My family and I slept in a grass hut looking over a lake. I loved visiting Vietnam, the people were so friendly and nice, the food was AMAZING, and scenery was stunning!
This is an image of the black sand beach in Iceland. The sand was so dark, and the beach was so gorgeous! This is a must see in Iceland, go early so you don’t catch the crowds! The water was quite cold though, so don’t go swimming!
This beach is on the island of Koh Phangan, Thailand. The water was so clear and beautiful, and it was so so so warm!
We took a dragon boat (not pictured in the image) to cruise through Bai Tu Long Bay, Vietnam! We did many activities such as kayaking, swimming, island visiting, and we visitied an oyster farm. These are the boats that took us to the oyster farm.
Thank you so much for reading! And thank you Raf for collaborating with me! Remember to go check out her blog!
